Hakim El Karoui is a senior advisor at Reverdin Consulting and founder of the strategy firm Volentia. A graduate of the Ecole Normale Supérieure and a degree in geography, he advised Prime Minister Jean-Pierre Raffarin from 2002 to 2005 and Thierry Breton at the Ministry of Finance in 2005-2006. He was an investment banker (Rothschild & Cie) from 2006; strategy advisor at Roland Berger from 2011; and strategic communications advisor at Brunswick Group, where he headed the Paris office from 2021 to 2023. A committed essayist, columnist for L’Opinion, he is the founding President of the Club XXIe siècle.
